a. Google Login

When you sign in via Google (through the Nextend Social Login plugin), we collect:

  • Name

  • Email address

b. Reviews (Comments)

Visitors may post reviews on product pages. When you do, we collect:

  • The data you enter (e.g., name, email, review content)

  • Your IP address

  • Your browser user-agent string
    This helps us detect spam and moderate reviews.

c. Cookies & Tracking

  • Comment cookies: If you leave a review, you can opt in to save your name, email, and website in cookies for one year.

  • Login cookies:

    • Temporary cookie on the login page (expires when you close your browser) to check if cookies are supported.

    • Authentication cookies once you log in, lasting 2 days (or 2 weeks if you select “Remember Me”).

    • Screen-options cookies lasting 1 year for any display preferences.

  • Google Analytics: Signing in with Google also registers you in Google Analytics. We use aggregate analytics to improve our site.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • Authentication: To let you sign in quickly and securely.

  • Customer Service: To contact you about orders or support.

  • Site Improvements: Aggregate analytics to improve features.

  • Spam Prevention: IP and user-agent data helps us block abusive reviews.

  • Nextend Social Login (Google login)

  • Stripe (payment processing)

5. Who We Share Your Data With

  • Essential services only: Nextend, Stripe, and Google Analytics.

  • Password Resets: If you request a reset, your IP address is included in the reset email.

  • We never sell your personal data.

6. How Long We Retain Your Data

  • Reviews & Comments: Retained indefinitely to recognize follow-ups.

  • User Profiles: Stored indefinitely but removable on request.

  • Cookies: As outlined above under “Cookies & Tracking.”

7. Your Rights

Under New Zealand law, you can at any time:

  • Request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.

  • Request deletion of your data (we’ll remove everything except what we must keep for legal/admin reasons).

Our site is open to all ages but designed for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13.

9. Where Your Data Is Sent

  • Spam Detection: Review data (IP and user-agent) may be sent to any automated spam-detection service we use.

  • Analytics & Payments: Data processed by Google Analytics and Stripe under their own privacy policies.
